NTQ visits New Jersey City University for a free afternoon concert!
New Thread Quartet presents a kaleidoscope of modern music for saxophone quartet by living composers from the last 6 years. These unique compositions range in inspiration from post World War II jazz in Europe to sunsets on the New Mexican landscape. Each work approaches the saxophone in a modern light, employing a variety of extended techniques to create a sound world unlike any other.
